Need help installing RS fron lip - want it to look tight! Acekicker? Others?
I could really use some suggestions on how to mount this lip. I don't want to be able to see any visible screws, or bolt heads, etc. If I just attach it at the far ends near each fender wall, will I have any gaps along the front? I've seen some nice jobs (Acekickers) and others, and could use a little help. Pics would be great especially. I'm up for any ideas right now since I havn't painted it yet.

You might want to try and take it to a shop and find out how much it is to paint. Then after it's painted see what they would charge to install. Usually install charges are determined on how well the piece fits to begin with. With this lip, there is not a fitment problem. After mine was painted, the guy asked me if I wanted him to put it on. I asked him how much he charges, and he said that since the fit was perfect, all he had to do was drill a few holes. Therefore, he did it free of charge. It only took about 10-15 minutes. Oh yeah, just in case you were wondering, the cost to paint was $100.
Well, my car is red, and red paint is usually a little more expensive. As far as going to other shops, everywhere else I went, they wanted $200-$300 to paint it.
Plus, $100 didn't seem too bad. I got the lip for $130, so the total for a painted lip was $230. That's about what the original oem front lip costs. Everything else is more expensive even before paint.

Were getting a little sidetracked here, I really need some info as far as were to drill, how the fit is etc. If you want to see what it looks like check Acecards car or Niter1dah, they both have them, which is why I had included there name in the subject

ZetaR's car
Acekicker's car
Check their exterior modifications, both have type RS lip.
I meant ZetaR instead of Niterdah. I really like the Kaminari lip, looks REAL similar to the RS, except it has those tiny grill cut outs on each side.

might be a dumb question, but if you install in the lip, I don't have to like replace anything right, meanin' I just have to add on the lip?[hr]
