Skunk2 makes some high compression valves. Don't know if they are for our cars. But would this be a good idea to have. What kind of gains might I expect. I will be getting a p&p job done on my heads. Also where could I get a cheap used cam to send in to have done. This is my only car so I can't send mine. And if you have any info on putting a thinner head gasket on. Is there enough clarence. Yeah i seen those at Diablo motorsports website. Skunk also makes regular compression valves too. It says its for the D series 1.7l. But i have no idea.

 

my head is p/p and does some good gains but to feel them u have to have everything else done.. i had my TB bored out by kingmotorsports and trying to get a custom intake mainifold done.. with the thinner head gasket i wouldnt suggest it.. and the high compression valves i would say go for it if they are lighter then stock and if u can get a 3 or 5 angle job done on them
