Maybe this has been posted before but I could not find it through a search.
Question does anybody out there have a diy on an Injen cai install. I am trying to decide between this and a
AEM. Right now I am leaning towards the AEM due to the bypass option but would like more info on the Injen. Any and all help will be greatly apericated.

Rep Power: 400 In West Lafayette (Indiana?) CARB doesn't mean shyt. The Injen install is easy. Take off the stock stuff, bolt the top pipe in, take off the bumper (not necessary, but easier to see what you're doing, follow the DIY for cleared lights to get it off), snake the bottom pipe through the splash guard (don't cut it) and the frame. Bolt the bottom pipe to the wire harness tie down point, then attach the 2 pipes. Bolt the filter on the end. Bumper back on, hook the battery up, let it rip. It's a piece of cake, you don't need a bypass. It's enclosed by the bumper... You'd have to drive in water up to the headlight to flood it, and you'd have to be driving through water long enough to fill the bumper cavity. Very unlikely. Plus, you don't have to mess with the bracket on top of the tranny, which saves any trouble arguing with the dealer over the tranny warranty.

Rep Power: 400 Ptuning.com has a pic of the system with the bumper off... I don't. Next time I take off the bumper to clean it, I'll snap a better pic.

Rep Power: 294 The bumper dosn't have to come off for install, but it would make it so much easier. If you don't want to remove the bumper, you can remove the front right wheel, then undo some of the clips and the inner fender and peel it back.
