Installing headers

Can someone help me with a DIY installating headers. It looks like it wouldn't be that hard to install one but I just want to be sure and not make a small mistake that could be big in the long run. Thanks

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Its a pretty east mod, just unbolt the stock manifold and put the new header on. the bolts and nuts attaching to the head are OK except for the one on the far right which you might need some extensions or different sockets to get to. Don't over tighten to nuts when you put them back on! Also the stock setup uses spring bolts to connect to the downpipe, but it looks like your header has some bolts with nuts on it. Hopefully that will work out OK for you. You probably want your car on jackstands so you can get under the engine area to connect it to the downpipe. Other than thats it should be pretty easy. Good luck!

IDQcivic said it, you should only have to take 7 bolts off and put 7 back on and one O2 sensor, easy as that.

my header looks so different then yours, and there is no o2 sensor like they said there will be.

can i just drill a hold weld on a nut then screw on my o2 sensor, will that work?

on the EX the o2 sensor is on the downpipe right below the header and on the cat under the car. The LX has the o2 sensor on the header and another one on the cat right below the header. Make sure you buy the right header for your application or else you might run into a problem, I wouldn't go drilling into soemthing that I just bought!

A DIY installing headers does not exist for our cars. The only one that I have seen is about installing a header.

Please do all civic owners a favor and say header instead of headers. You only have one cylinder bank, and therefore only one header.
