I am installing it as we speak and I have everything off of the stock shifter except for the secondary cable black piece that attaches to the base... I cant get it off! How?

Put a flat blade screw driver up against the top of it and turn the black piece counter clock-wise with the screwdriver, the black piece should slide right out then.

oh sorry, i did the search after i posted this question and found out that i did indeed have to turn in counter-clockwise... it is a biatch! Finally got it off! Put everything back in with my Kumo bushings and Grey's upgrade kit and.... ITS AWESOME!!!!!!I thought i wasnt gonna be able to feel that much of a difference but wow! compared to stock... its crazy! Thanks for replies!
