Headlight wireharness
Has anyone upgraded their headlight wire harnesse yet? I just got mine in the mail and i was wondering if anyone has done it before, i would like a little advise on how to get started. Thanks forum.
I got JDM gun metal head lights a few weeks ago.
They were really easy to install. Just take the whole front bumper off to do this. believe it makes the process a lot easier. after you've installed it make sure that the head light beams line up correctly, aftermarket head lights tend to do that sometimes. best way to check for that is at night face the car at a wall and you can tell from there wheather or not the head light beam line up correctly..

Have you had any problems with your Gunmetal headlights? Where did you order them from? No fogging or anything?
Anyway, to install that wire harness just pull the wires out of the old one and stick them in the new one remembering where they do.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you take your new harness and it connects directly to the battery with thicker gauge wire, then you take your old plug that plugged into the headlights and plug that into the new harness. It should have some kind of relay that directs the power from the battery to the headlights through the thicker gauge wire, instead of the stock wimpy wire... it should be an easy install, just cover all your wires with wire loom so it looks professional. Let us know how it turns out...

yup, it was a five minute installation process, the hardest part was trying to get the nut i drop into the engine bay
once i get some wire loom, i plan to post some long over due pics into the member rides, hopefully before my car gets anymore dents in it
