The new Civic type R has a k20 engine. Please do a search, this topic has been beaten to death!!! A B engine would be hard, but most people agree it can be done, but then again, what can't be done if you have enough money right.

It's been brought up recently that the SiR Sedan in UAE (United Arab Emirates) possibly has a b16 engine standard. If that's true, then it may be more possible than previously thought.

I was told that it's illegal to drop an engine that was made before you car i.e. 2001 civic with a 98 b18C5. (even though it's impossible just and example) I'm not sure though if it's an actual law and where it is applied.

the B-series according to a local shop would be very very easy to drop in and fab new mounts... it's the wiring that would be the hard part.. the engine dimensions and such aren;t far off from our Dseries.. afterall..we have the same block as all the previous gens did..just different enternals..and manifolds..and our engine runs backwards lol..
But it is very possible to drop in a B16...or if you have a 2k1 and want to keep it legal.. a 2k1 B18C1 out of an integra...
Cheers
