Ok, I posted a DIY on this last spring, but it got burried in the archives. It's pretty long, and somewhat detailed, so hopefully it'll help you out.

Peace

DIY Ricer blue interior light mod:

1. Go to pep boys
2. Find sylvania "cool ion blue" interior dome light
3. Pay for said light (or steal, i dont care)
4. Take off interior dome light cover.
5. Repplace stock light with lower lumen per watt blue bulb.
6. Replace plastic dome light cover.
7. bling bling, yo.

If you mean interior lights, the 3 in the front are 168/194 wedge bulbs. You can find a lot of them at autotoys.com. I personally use the PIAA Dual LED Wedges for my domes. The domelight in the middle is a 3175 Long Bar style light. I haven't been able to find anything other than plasma white, so hopefully someone can tell me where. The plasma white one can also be found at autotoys. Hope that helps.

You're confused because some people like being jerks

If you go to the DIY section and follow the instructions for pulling out the center console (should be in the radio install DIY), then you have the first part done. After that, pull off the ***** for your ac controls (all 3 of them pull off with a little force). Then turn the center console over (you may want to take the radio out to make it easier), and unscrew the "box" that is on the opposite side of the console from the *****. Then remove the clear plastic "thing" (you'll know what I'm talking about) and look for some thin brownish-orangish plastic pieces on either the back of the console or on the "box". Once you find them, pry them off, find some "gels" at a music store, trace the old plastic pieces onto the gels, put the gels in with some glue or rubber cement, then put it all back together. Then you're done .

It's really VERY easy, you just have to open up your console and look at the parts for yourself. I made my lights blue a while back, but I decided I didn't like them like that. I'm gonna go for white LED's. Anyway, have fun!

On the subject of interior lights. I have successfully installed the Gels in my defrost & dash. I called FullCompass.com and they sent me some free gels, so many damn colors it took me several of the blues just to get the right color I was looking for. When you call them, if you do, tell them you are interested in their gels for stage lighting, they will send you some free gels along with their catalog. There are more than enough of the gels to do the job. I only have one question on this subject. Has anyone successfully changed their cruise control button colors? I have not taken that side of the car apart yet so I am stuck on that one.

Look through the members rides, some people have swapped out the cruise LED to make it blue. I think Drew did, but you'll have to check his ride profile.

another cheaper way then LEDs is to get a colored tranparency like you put on strobe lights and cut it to fit the dials.
take out the uppper console
unscrew the heater control unit(3 screws)
take the dials off and pop the OEM red plastic off( held on by glue)
trace them
put the blue ones on with a dag of super glue

i didn't even use that. i used colored cling wrap but you wouldn't know unless i just told you
just got to fold it over a couple times til it gets dark
