Body Kit off topic

once i have the body kit im gonna need it put on and painted, just curious if people payed to get their kits put on and painted and if they did where they got it done at. im thinkin bout doing it at a local maaco body and paint shop.( i hope theyll do it)

maaco is crap. get it done elsewhere. pay the extra few hundred, i mean your already spending a grand or so on the kit...whats an extra couple hundred?

im in atlanta, i wasnt plannin on doin it at maaco but i havent seriously looked for a place to get it done, my kit will cost roughly 850$ (ship&handle include) i wont mind spend 500 to get it put on as long as its right. will just about any body shop do it.?

Try and find a bodyshop that specializes in imports, preferably hondas. You must also take into consideration what your kits made of (fiberglass/urethane). It will probabley run you more than $500 for a whole bodykit.

what kind of kit are you getting? My ex boyfriend got his car painted at a macco and the paint started chippin off in like 5 months...[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]i thought it was rather funny...so you should really go to a REAL body shop!

I got mine painted and installed at my honda dealers body shop, and I must say they did a decent job

thanks for the replies, im getting the VisRacing Octane kit (650). im gonna call my local honda dealer body shop today and talk to them about a price. PEACE OUT!!!
