rijowysock will become famous soon enough
i dont know if you can buy and replce them but it would be easier to just bleach them and then buy permanent hair color in the color you want and then die them, just make shure you dont get the coloring on the seat (its permanent). and they'll never fade.

You should be able to get new belts. You may have to call around and see if any dealers sell blue belts that match the interiors of their cars (my old Nissan had a Navy Blue interior w/ blue belts). Or see if some of the companies that sell 4 point harnesses sell 3 pt. also.

That's sounds like a pretty cool project to take on. Good luck, tell us how it goes.

your just askin for trouble if you try to bleach or dye the belt. thats just goin to make the belts integrity less and leave it more prone to failing when you need it the most. not a good idea at all.

hey, that sounds awesome. i want to remove my nasty tan belts, mainly because people reach for them and get confused that they have to use the harnesses. i could really use a nice DIY on removing the stock seatbelts.

maybe somebody will have an idea of what else to put down that slot in the panel, i don't want it to turn into somebody's trash can you know.

you could always put a little siren in there and hook it up to your car alarm, i know if i had a alarm blaring right at my ear while i was stealing your car, i would get out of there asap.

i've come up with something better. i want to dye my belts blue to match the harnesses and get some blue buckles. mine are missing. anybody know where i could find some blue buckles that would fit our seat belts? i would like to provide a regular 3 point belt for those that don't like the harnesses. if i can't find blue i'd go with black too, but i can't find any site that sells any belt buckles.
