Anybody have their headlights explode on them?
Just got my car back from the dealer and in the span of the next 2 days both lights exploded leaving my chrome insides and lens all smokey and burnt looking. Gotta be some kind os power surge. Anyone have any clues about the cause?

Sometimes they fog up the headlamp if they explode.

That happened to my buddy in his Altima..although his problem was he was screwing around with the bulb causing it to shatter, but his bulb harnesses were all fried, causing his to fork over some money to have em fixed...

Exactly what he said... oil may have gotten on the bulbs, therefore creating an explosion of the xenon charged bulbs.

Nope, no grease on them, and i also had them on for a year already. Also, if it was an electrical problem, I thought the fuse would blow WAY before the load would, in this case, the bulbs. And there ain't no warrenty coverage cuz these bulbs are those aftermarket bulbs.
