V-AFC and n02
i want to know if you can have the Apexi V-AFC and Nitrious on you car at the same time... and would it matter if i have a AEM cam gear on?... would i need to have an ignition controler with retard built in? would it be ok to have it on a EX Automatic tranny

Rep Power: 0 cam timing and ignition timing are two different things. Retarding the cam gear will do nothing for retarding ignition timing using nitrous. You can retard ignition timing with a ignition box like you suggested but its up to you.

Rep Power: 0 thats what i did for my car. I have the vafc and NX kit and what you can do is slave the VAFC to the nitrous. sence the vtec function dosnt work on our cars i had mine trigger my nitrous. there both solinoids, so you can have your nitrous trigger at a certain rpm. the only problem is there is a different voltage between the vafc (which is 12 volt) and the nitrous solonoids (which is 10.5 i think...dont quote me) just get a resistor and your all set.
