Got Noise!?

Hey guys...I've posted a couple messages about me doing my clutch and so on because of a suspicious noise. Today I replaced the pilot bearing (the old one not even seeming bad) at a shop. I just happened to bring my throw out bearing and the fork it attaches to to ask the guy if it seemed lose. He said it seemed fine but there was a spring missing in the fork that makes the connection to everything it touches tighter. So I goto the Honda dealership and order the part and they tech guy looks at my fork and says it didn't even seem like there was one in there in the first place because it would have left little scratch marks on the insides and there were no visible ones. So I asked him if he thought the noise I have been hearing could be that and he said, "...most definelty." So I ordered the spring and it'll be here in the morning and I hope to have it all back together by early afternoon. If anybody else if having a weird ticking noise while in nuetral and it stops when the clutch is pushed in, or, when they drive it gets louder, faster and worse, please post it here with the time you started hearing it and how many miles are on your car. Thanks.

I got a noise, its kinda like a squeaky, metal rubbing sound.. is that the one? It seems like it only happens when I have it in gear.... Could this be my clutch? I have a 5 speed....

The Noise is like a knocking sound when it's idling in nuetral. About 3 to 4 times per second and when you push in the clutch it slows down and stops completely. The Noise also get faster and louder once in gear and driving. I've also heard a third noise. Every now and then when accelerating in 1st I get that metal rubbing high pitched squeaky noise that'll stop once I let off the gas. I'm not exactly sure what that is. But I'm 99% postive that the knocking sound is because of that spring. I'm in the process of putting it all back together with the spring now. The spring really keeps that fork and throw out bearing tight. I'll keep ya posted on the results in about 3 hours.

I got noise too, but mines sounds like metal rattling.... & oddly enough its only when the RPMs are @ about 1200. The other noise sounds like my rear deck, but i'm not sure if its the deck or the 6X9's (i got 2 15's & the air blew 'em out)... Just never got around to checking. Anyone know about the 1st noise?

Yeah...it's a metal knocking sound. I got it all back together and I'm not hearing it anymore. That spring tightened what was rattling I guess. I still haven't driven it much though so hopefully it'll stay gone and I can keep hearing the awesome sounds from my Injen CAI.
