Relocating Battery to trunk

Anyone think this is a worthwhile mod for autocross? Seems like it would help even out the weight distrobution since the thing weighs about as much as the hood.

Or you could just put your hood in the trunk, lol. I have no idea, makes sense.

if you did that and a carbon fiber hood you'd be probably close to 100 lbs lighter in front, it might help a bit

usually people do it if they rally or have sound systems, less power wires running through their cars

more weight in back = more understeer.

you want more weight in front, in comparison.

but try it for yourself. put a large weight in your trunk and see i fyour driving gets better or worse.

WhiteRabbit has this right on. No advantage that I can think of.
