Aw yeah. My uber monica stalker status has just bean removed (by my hand), but my uber DIY status has just bean confirmed. Introducing... My gas pedal!

It's clear coated too. That's why it has a slightly rough appearance. It's hard to clear coat in one smooth layer with spray paint. besides, it'll give me extra grip for a while. Until I wear through it that is. Although this stuff is rather good. What do you think?

i just learned how to clearcoat myself. took 6 cans and 7 hours of sanding out my ****ups, but i got a pro method now

smooth the first time, everytime. but if you wanna see your face in it,. you have to sand it out with 1500, then 2000 grit paper. if you want it even clearer, you then go to the .3 micron rubbing compound, then you wax it

of course, for that rough texture, id leave it sprayed and un sanded completely. looks nice!

you chose to put the bend in it? thats to fit yoru bare foot? whats with the bend?

The stock gas pedal has a slight bend in it. The bend that I made matches perfectly.
Oh yeah, the screw heads stick out in this picture since the whole pedal is on the table.
I put the gas pedal on already. Looks and feels great.
I will try to get the brake and clutch pedals finished tomorrow.

Plus, Grey and I wear shoes that adjust to any arc or curve in any surface. We are better drivers, because our shoes give better response

Personaly I would have went with a satin finish or brushed look. Get a scowl pad and rub it all in one direction. Even better, dont use aluminum, it tarnishes and warps really easy. Steel or Titanium would look super, But Titanium isnt very flexable. Tends to crack if you try and bend it when its cold.

So Grey, now you just need to make a dead pedal and there will be an entire set.

Yep. I don't have a pattern for that design though. I need to make one. I'll make it a little more simple though. civicvtec1ps has my very first one. It's more complex than it has to be. Especially one corner that's cut out exactly like the OEM is. Although it doesn't have to be. That'll be left out in the re-design. Maybe less holes as well? Or... Maybe bigger ones with wider spacing? Who knows... I'll mess around with the design on the computer.

the holes would be similiar to Grey's design countersunk down the center between the writing
as for pricing, i don't really know but it wouldn' t be alot. I am fooling around with some ideas for the gas pedal and the other 3 (dead pedal) any ideas would be great

Grey- what size screws did you use?? I can have the holes c'sunk to the right size
