Do u guys think its worth modding an engine attached to an auto trans

yes and no. no definately not for our civics, yes for a car that puts out over 300lb of torque at 2000 rpm.

if you can't drive a 5-speed, yes, it'll always make the car a little more fun.


I had a ricetegra that was an auto which slipped really bad on the downshift but sounded great, cornered great, and in a somewhat small town, everybody feared me (silly rabbits).

it is way worth modding anything....performance is clear...after i installed my aem intake i noticed alot....the power band majorly improved....if you got it mod it....adding performance to anything will change the out come of any vehicle...

i've got a 2k1 auto with the AEM SRI, but all i've noticed is that the engine sounds really nice. it's a bit to expensive for me to mod my car right now, after car payment, insurance, gas money and savings, i'm left with about 200 a month to spend on what i want. that's not a lot of money and i don't want to spend every dime of it on my car.

Where did the Turbo thing come from?...anyway i think its worth it if you want to do it i was about to change my tranny from my old Prelude from and auto to stick as well as a swap but if you got the money go for it...its your ride
