Where to drill a hole for firewall

I have read some of the firewall threads but I still can find any. I know some people has said they made there own. Where is a good spot to drill. I have a 2 door coupe ex. Any info would help thanks.

What are you trying to do? The car already has a firewall. So what are you trying to add or mod?

Yeah i have a neon under and i run the wires in the car from the out side through he door. I need to have a hole so i can get more wires in. And i ment in the firewall

theres an existing hole that some people use....check the diy for amp wiringhere

edit: u run wires from under ur car through your door???

Just use one of the existing holes there are plent of them and plenty of space. It isn't worth drilling a new one.

if u pop ur hood look on the passenger side towards the bottom their is like a rubber thing....tape coat hanger and ur wire together and put it through their u can see it under ur floormats inside the car passenger side see if this helps....

i think the firewall in the coupes are plugged up with a white plastic looking thingy.......
I remember i had to pull the plastic out before i could get my 4 gauge wires through

ya its in the passenger side, get under there where the feet go, its very close to the center console.. if not you could always go through your fender, that how i ran my amp wire.. but ya i'm sure you could find other holes
