lowering cars
Okay im just wondering how low is low w/o needing camber kits and damaging your axles? i work at an auto shop and i thought 1.5 was the lowest you can go w/o camber and damaging your axles... but now ive heard different answers... err... our ph-uckin civics is too high.. probably 3 inches too high lol.. i wanna know how low can i go...
i lowered mine 2 inches with no camber kit. the camber is off 1 or 2 degrees but my tires havn't been affected yet(20,000 miles) and you wont damage your axles but your wheels bearings do take a beating if you get low profile tires.

the place where I got my car lowered said that I wouldn't need a front camber kit because of our suspension int he front, so ya, i didn't have one with the gold line springs, and my alignment and camber was fine

Im with CivicPimp on this one i would rather be on the safe side of everything and save up for the camber kit, springs, shocks and struts and the alignment...its costly but itll save you in the long run if your gonna do it do it right the first time leav e no room for a second

How much does a camber kit usually go for? You have to buy one for front and then rear...so how much should i expect to pay? I'm just wondering. I'm only dropping my car 1" all around though.

Also...should i invest in koni's?
