Blinker idea & need help
Ok, You know how we have that parking light that does absolutely nothing (in case you're dumb, its the little light between the blinker & the headlight). Anyway, I want that light to blink oposite of my normal blinker. How would I go about this?
I also want to do the same with my tail lights. Have the parking light blink oposite the normal blinker.
Any input on how to achieve this would be great.
TIA!

ok, here is what you do:
you ge ta relay from an automotive store, SPDT (double throw) and you hook up the blinker light to it. when you flick the blinker, you should hear a click, click, click, as the relay flicks on and off. if it doesnt do this, then this whole post is useless. now you do this:
hook up teh grounds to both lights, as normal.
now: route a power line for both bulbs throught the center pole of teh switch. now plug one side into teh parking light, the other side into the turn signal.
now, when you activate your signals, it will flip opposite one another. if you do this EXACTLY, then it means that as long as the turn signal bulb is off, the parking light is on, and vice versa.
therefore, for this to be a TRUE working mod, you will want some relays inline with yoru two current loops going into the bulbs, to disrupt any possible power flow unless the blinker switch is on. now, i dont know what kind of signal the switch is, but if its just a constant voltage, this would be a REALLY easy project to do (youd just need three relays per side, or one SPST and one DPDT relay)
good luck! and lemme know if you need anymore help!
