Aftermarket Springs/Coilovers...Do I need Camber Kit?
Hey, I am seriously considering either installing new springs or coilovers on my new 2002 EX. I would like to drop the car somewhere around 2.5 to 3 inches. With this much of a drop do I need a camber kit? Also if you install the camber kit should you also take the car to be aligned after the drop? I am only posting this because I read through the other entries in the forum and saw no concrete answer and I am new to the mod scene. Also the equipment I am considering are neuspeed race springs, skunk2 springs, eibach pro, or skunk2, eibach coilovers. Any opinions? Thanks in advance. Yes with that much of a drop you will need a rear camber kit and WHENEVER you do a drop you need to get an alignment. Allow the springs to settle before you do (so wait about a week). The way the McPhearson struts are designed they will not camber. When they do the alignment they will tell you if your camber, caster and toe are out so then you can go from there.

if your going to go that low i dont think springs are going to cut it... your best bet is coilovers. and you should also get some new shocks. the only ones out are konis.
ground control=$300, konis=$550, installation=atleast 100 this comes out to about 1000
i would just go with true coilovers. they have both shock and coilover together. this is better because they're tuned to work together. also installation should be easy(if the coilovers come with upper pillow mount that is) so you can diy. the cheapest coilovers i've seen are 850. i'm sure you could find a couple for 1000.

What do you exactly mean by a camber kit?
Only Cam bolts ( like 100$) or the tabs and everything (500$) ?
