E-Brake Adjustment

Anybody know how to adjust the e-brake cable on 2k1 ex coupe? my uncle drove my car a couple of times and when finished, ripped up on it and now its loose........

take off the middle counsel and there a nut to tighten it

first off, is the e-brake catching between 4 and 9 clicks?
if not,

take it to the dealer. you have to remove the rotor, and there are latching mechanisms for each side. try not to adjust by the console... save that for last resorts. the dealer shouldnt charge you anything if you ask them as they're rotating your rollers.

"catching"? You mean the first time you feel something, or when you can't pull it up anymore?
