APC eurotails question

not sure if anyone else has had this problem. i bought some of the APC eurotails, and installed them correctly. didn't over tighten or anything. but, whenever i wash my car or it rains, i get some condensation under the lens. i was wondering whether to return them, or contact APC, or do like i did on the DIY cleared HL's and just apply a liberal amount of silicone to them and say to hell w/ APC. Suggestions?

You are young junior member. Learn the search function. Just about everyone who has these lights has that problem. IBTL

Apply silicon...I have the APC carbon-fibers and I did that when I installed them and have not had any problems. I've had them for probably 7 or 8 months now.

yes sir, u gotta take out your tail lights on a low humidity day, use a blow dryer to get all the condensation out of it, and then ur local home depot or whatever and get a waterproof silcone and beed it on the sucker like there isn't a tommorow.

Doesn't seem worth the trouble...plus the red lenses fade and end up looking orange, instead....yuck!

just drill a tiny tiny hole into the bottom of the taillight and your condensation will dissapear

LOL yeah APC is crap a lot of their products have leaked on my past Civics. But yeah just get some silicone and reapply. I just hope this coming winter when the rains come that my lights don't leak haven't got into any big storms yet.
