Dynamat HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
has anybody here installed dynamat in their car themselves, including trunk? can you tell me how you did it and post pics of your trunk? i have a sheet of dynamat extreme, and i have the roller too i just need to know how it looks on other Civic trunk lids before i do anything.
Thanks
Thanks
Don't have any pics, nor have I done it, but I've seen it and know the basics. Your gonna wanna do it on a warm day. Let the mat sit out on the ground and heat up. You clean the surface using alcohol of some type. As you get ready to apply, get out a hair dryer/heat gun. Begin at a corner and heat the surface/mat using the hair dryer. use the roller to make sure it conforms to ALL the grooves. You should be set. Don' think it's that hard, as long as you clean, heat, and roll!!!!
with the dynamat extreme you dont heat that up...you just pull off the back and put it on smooth.i've used alot of that stuff on my car and it works really well. the origanal dynamat is the stuff that you heat up..
I have Dynamat on my trunk lid. I did it myself. It looks kinda ghetto but it does the job damn good for me. You don't have to heat it up to put it on but you do need roller if you don't want any creases. If you really want pics email me at 2cute. Oh and by the way one roll will not cover your trunk it will cover about half. I used 2 rolls to cover the inside of the trunk lid.
