not another one......

$3000 turbo+tune is about the cheapest way u can make it go faster.
intake, exhaust...whatever wont do anything for our cars. NOTHING
if thats a little too much for you, you can just replace ur vtec fluid. i have two extra bottles in my garage if u want. $40 shipped.

Nitrous is the cheapest way to go fast, yes.
Someone who posts I just bought a car, now I want fast car, tell me how to do it, would probably put in a 300hp shot instead of a 50hp shot though. Especially if they want to buy special VTEC fluid..

If you want to get the most out of your car without potentially killing your engine by overdoing the N2O, get yourself a nice suspension setup, then do a little bit of engine work. Again, do your homework. Sounds like you have a LOT of learning to do
Re: Hi guys. Just bought an 2005 Civic and need to know how to make it faster
I haven't seen a kit sold for a Honda that has more than a 75 shot nozzle in it.

OMG!!!
If I put that in my car, will it make it so fast that my tires leave flaming tracks behind them?

Only if you go 88MPH, but you also have to install a flux capacitor in your electrical system. I think you have to tap it off of the ignition coils.. or was it straight up to the alternator? I don't quite remember. I've also heard that if you solder the flux capacitor directly to the ELD, it'll work, too, but that's more of a permanent installation. You'd have to get a new ELD if you wanted to upgrade to a more efficient or more powerful flux capacitor in the future.

I don't think he's saying he has one for sale.. That's the retail price on the piece. And it's not like slapping in a k-pro will be a one-and-done deal. You have to fork over the dough for someone to tune it PROPERLY
Seriously. Do your homework.

Re: Hi guys. Just bought an 2005 Civic and need to know how to make it faster
If money's not an issue, I'd go for a k24 swap.. or grab a k20a and supercharge that bish.
And even though money's not an issue, you still need to do your homework on how to make the em2/es1 chassis fast..
And if money's not an issue, why are you trying to find the cheapest way? If I had the financial stability to do so, I'd be looking for the best way to make it fast and reliable. Try and cheap out, you end up with broken ****.

I've always thought that Civics handled well and weren't meant to go fast. I think that's why people love them. If I were you, I'd go with a RWD car and call it a day. Say....a Miata? =D

Seeing as how you were asking if you could buy VTEC fluid from sl33pyriceboi earlier, you obviously have no idea wtf you're doing under the hood.
and thanks for the advice. I need to be doing my homework anyways.
Someone PM me when this forum doesn't suck anymore.

Re: Hi guys. Just bought an 2005 Civic and need to know how to make it faster
I just sold my second Miata. Awesome car but decided it was too much of a young kid's car. That's why I got the Civic.
Re: Hi guys. Just bought an 2005 Civic and need to know how to make it faster
yet doing things proper is how you save money in the long run. Doing things cheap usually leads to otherwise unnecessary repairs. I'm done with this thread. If you don't wanna listen to us, that's fine. Just don't complain when you have to find a new motor.

Re: Hi guys. Just bought an 2005 Civic and need to know how to make it faster
You don't make a over a 150k a year. If your going to exaggerate be reasonable, then at least it might be a bit believable.
People who make over 150k a year don't tune civics, they realize how much of a waste it is; they don't try to find the cheap way to do things, because they know cheap inevitably costs more; they don't randomly offer to buy random things from people online, without a least knowing what a fair retail price is; they don't ask questions that could be answered with five minutes research; and they generally have much better grammar.
More than likely, your some dumb kid who still lives with your parents.
If money really isn't an issue, just buy an M3.
Go away troll.
