Need help with Civic timing belt tensioner and spring
I put a new timing belt and tensioner in while ago and it ran fine. It died this week and wont start so I took it a part and the spring was off but the tensioner where the spring hooks was broke . What would cause the spring to pull the tensioner like that? It looks like some made a perfect line where the spring hooks on the tensioner. It was a aftermarket one. Where should I get a new one and any tip on putting it on? Thanks
