Is this worth install?

I found Avistart 6000 remote start with alarm system brand new in my garage.

Is this worth installing?

I have keyless entry, but no alarm on my 2005 Civic LX.

Should I try DIY? or is this not even worth it?

Anybody want to do the install for me in Nothern Virginia area?

Avital makes pretty good remote starts. I can't say that they are the best of the best but for their purpose they are great! In would recommend that you have a professional install it for you. The wiring can get very difficult and you really have to know what you're doing. You'll definitely find a shop locally that could install it.

Agreed i would deff take it to a shop and let them do it. Alarms get very complicated to install. I have a viper 350 2 way alarm and i absolutely love it.
