Hey guys. I searched, couldnt find what I want.

Does anyone know how to get the trunk on my 03 civic 2dr to open up more when I pop my trunk? I want it to open and almost go all the way up, currently it just opens a few inches.

I just did the 98-00 accord trunk opener mod. My primary reason is when transporting beer from the store to my car ;-). I want to pop the trunk from my remote(which it does currently), and have it open enough from me to throw the 24 in, hands free.

you cant get it to pop completely open, but i have mine popping at least 6-8 inches up enough to stuff something in by giving it a push. you want to make sure the trunk is closing tightly by adjusting those rubber stoppers so you have to slam it down to lock in. you can also adjust the trunk latch to sit lower. it helps quite a bit with popping power.

You can always convert it from trunk springs to trunk shocks.
