F20c1 good idea for 99 civic dx hatch?

Friend just got rear ended in his Honda s2000 and bought his car back from the insurance company. I have a 99 civic dx hatch with the d16y7 and was wondering if his f20c1 would be a good swap for my civic or if it is even possible. Thanks for any useful advice!

It can work, you will just have to find another F series tranni cause the f20c tranni will not work cause it is RWD. The s2k motors are pretty badass and all but not sure how hard its going to be to swap it in your car. You might be easier just swapping in a K although the f20c has engineering of the K series..

It will work!I posted a thread about a week ago with a F20C swap/S2000 drivetrain in an EG6 drifting. It will be easier if he did swap in K series, but F20C got more power stock.

I heard that the F20 do not respond well to bolt-on mods, though. pretty much maximized from factory?
Not sure how much work it will be either. not sure about ECU, wiring, etc.
contact hasport? (goggle - wops! google it)

Ya I think they dont respond well because they already have good exhausts and intakes. If not wrong I believe that the s2k header is 4-2-1 already so its not really needed for a after market and the exhaust is alread a good flowing one. So if you put aftermarket stuff on it then it will only give alittle hp.
