05 Civic- Coolant Air bleed valve
I'm changing the coolant on my 05 civic and downloaded instructions and photos. Neither post mentioned a bleed valve on the engine to get air out of the coolant. Does the 05 Civic with A/T have one somewhere?

Forgot to mention. Since dealer flushes radiator, he didn't have a replacement washer for the engine drain plug. Any suggestions? Is a new one really necessary? Any thoughts on the type of "liquid gasket" to use on the threads?

im pretty sure to "bleed" the coolant system, you leave the rad cap off and run the engine with the a/c blower on with full heat and add coolant as necessary. you'll see the coolant in the rad cap area "burp".
