thinking about it..... 1st job, should I go for it???

Hey guys, so I have a mostly stock 99 civic DX with the exception of a short ram air intake system in it and am wanting to start modding some. Here is what I have in mind and want to know what you guys think if it is worth the go or not. I am looking for some quick HP gains and was thinking about upgrading the fuel system and exhaust system. Should I give it a go? Here are the parts that I am thinking about and am wanting to know what u guys think..

For the Exhaust:

Magnaflow cat back exhaust system

Fuel system upgrades:

- a p2r high flow fuel rail
- an aem high performance fuel filter
- 4 RC engineering fuel injectors with clips (370cc)

the parts will cost somewhere around $1000 total, I would love to DIY' it and would this be all that I would need to upgrade the fuel system and is it worth it to get a fuel pressure regulator?

..anythoughts on how much HP gains this might give me??? My car is an automatic, and I am just looking to throw down some cash to have some fun..anyone else have any ideas on a way that I might be able to "drop a grand" $$$ and get some reasonable gains in HP??

the fuel system mods aren't going to do anything without at least a tunable piggy back nor do you have any mods that require more fuel. Your car is an Automatic, just enjoy cruising and saving up money til you can do an engine swap or swap the tranny and boost. You will seriously just be wasting money for nothing more than noise with the stuff you listed.

If that money is seriously burning a hole in your pocket that bad, just go to the strip club they will be glad to take it.

Well if you want some cheap Fuel injectors i have a set of OBD1 H22 injectors with resistor box for 120 shipped in the upper 48. These are the 340cc injectors.

Bigger injectors means more fuel output potential, not necessarily more fuel output. Remember they are electronically controlled.

Bah, it's a civic. Not a corvette. Save your money, sell your house and your civic and buy the corvette. You might live in a box, but at least you cruise in style.

I agree, save up for swap or turbo.
