Accessing the washer fluid resevoir tank on an '05

Hi guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have a leak from my washer fluid resevoir tank on my 05 civic coupe (by my fault alone...don't ask). I need to access the bottom of the resevoir tank.

I've never done work on any of my cars that have required me to remove the bumper and/or plastic guard underneath. Thought i would check with others before i do any of this.

Is it possible to just remove the plastic guard that is underneath the car? seems like its being held on with some plastic plugs and a screw in each wheel well. If this is the case. These plugs appear to have two small notches on each side that i assume is for pliers to grip on and pull them out. Is there anything i should be aware of in removing these plugs?

If the bumper needs to come off can any guide me to some instructions on doing so? I can't seem to find them anywhere(maybe its brain-dead easy and thats why).

Thanks in advance for any help

DONT use pliers to pull them out take a flat head screw driver and pop the center of the plug out then pull the plug outby hand pretty sure your gonna still needa take the bumper off though to get to the tank though just keep all the bolt/screws/plugs organized so you can put them back inthe right spot
