Stabalizer bar.
What does the stabalizer bar on the EX do? The bar that runs from one lower control arm to the other. It also has some other engine stabalizers as well that the DX does not, what do those do?

Re: Stabalizer bar.
lol it just ties the two sides together and makes it more responsive when turning. one side affects the other so to speak like a torsion bar. the size and composition of the bar matters too. some are hollow, others are solid, and they come in different sizes. my 22mm hollow oem bar makes a good difference in steering feedback. when i had a broken endlink, the steering felt very slow to react. like you would turn the wheel and then have to turn it more because nothing was happening. i definately prefer having the bar.

Re: Stabalizer bar.
engine stabilizer? im not sure if i know what youre referring to. all the bars in there tie the chassis and suspension together. there are engine mounts, but i think thats it. aftermarket engine stabilizers are a hi power shock that connects the engine directly to a chassis point to reduce movement, but it vibrates the whole car like crazy and makes it noisier. sounds like the engine is inside of the car.

Re: Stabalizer bar.
There are these metal pieces called stiffeners located on the engine on the EX but not the DX. But they are like the bracket assembles. I wouldn't know how it translates into a difference of feel. Any way, nevermind. -_-
