97 ls integra.. gsr swap???

i am looking at buying a 97 2 door ls integra from my gf dad for cheap.. i would like to build it into a decent street car which from what i have been reading would be to swap the gsr engine into the car. i understand i could just get the gsr engine i would need the ecu and to wire in vtec? also that the gsr intake manifold is shorter so the exhaust will not match up.. but other than that would the motor just drop in? i know some about cars but have never done an engine swap i have been reading up alot about it because i would love to take the time and learn. thanks in advance

yeah the engine should just bolt up, you just need the gsr ecu. I'm not sure about the exhaust. Please place to ask about integras is either team-integra or honda-tech.com

I would just swap the b16 head onto the ls block.. Frankenstein it but thats just my opinion. Other then that the exhaust mani will be the same..
