Tech Question about Civic 2004

Hello, I just brought a Civic 2004 LX
1.After i purchased it, the engine oil leaking light is flashing.
2. The water temperature is higher than the normal. later on the water temperature is over heated.

My tech guy replaced the thermostat. after that the car is still over heat.

Can someone tell me what exactly is going on???

now my tech guy want to change the engine gasket.

Please help, i just got the car. i don't know my tech now how to fix.

Can someone suggest me a good place in Toronto???

thank you

Re: Tech Question about Civic 2004

oil light?? that means the engine is prolly low on oil and the pressure is not high enough. i think you bought a car that was about to die. it sounds like you need a whole new motor.
