Question No Start after rewiring

I have a '01 Civic LX. Had to change out the engine wiring after an engine fire. Have all electrical working except engine won't turn over. Jumped the starter, cranks over like that, but no spark. Does this car require the special ignition key with the chip in it, or am I looking in the wrong place to find out why there is no juice?

Re: No Start after rewiring

yeah it does, all 01+ civic has immobilizer system that disables ignition and fuel if wrong key is used.
