I have a boosted 02 sedan and ive had megans full suspension for about 5 months now. Problem started a few days ago where i noticed the passenger side was almost a full inch lower the the drivers side. The collars came loose, so i matched the thread/height with the other side and what do you know... Alignment got messed up and the car was all over the road. A slight left turn would = hard left. On the freeway it feels like a roller coaster out of control. Took it to a well known alignment shop and had it realigned. Car still does the same thing but not as violent... Any ideas? I already tried messing with the dampening (1-32 adjustments) and they basically all feel the same. Weird thing about it is that everything felt perfect even up until the time i noticed the car was sitting crooked. I'm going to take it back to the shop but i want to see if anyone has ideas before i go back and look like an idiot lol. All input would be helpful =D

yeah make sure nothing is actually loose. check all the suspension stuff, and bushings too. otherwise the alignment will just come loose again as soon as you drive it.

how low are you? do you have a camber correction kit? My buddy Chris has a CRV on K-Sports and they could only align him 65% because it was as far as the factory control arms would allow him. Maybe they couldn't correct a camber/thrust/toe/caster angle? What king of shocks are you using? I'm not familiar with the megan's are they a full shock/coil over unit? Are the shocks in good shape?

Yea i checked all the collars on the coilovers (including the rear), bushings and basically had my hands on everything on the front end. Everything was pretty much polyurethane from last year so worn bushings aren't a factor on this one. Sway bar end links are still on there tight. The megans are the full coilver kit (comes with the adjustable camber plate). They said everything was aligned and had no trouble with my set up. The drop is only mild... i say 1-1.5in drop. It feels like... speed wobbles on a street bike! Exactly like that. I'll get it up on the rack tomorrow and do some tests with the rebound of the struts. Maybe one side is dead?

maybe have them check the tires? I wa thinkng about this after i replied and I had a problem like this with shitty dunlops a few years back. The belts in the tire shifted, and I would get a wicked wandering on the highway.... worth a check? Maybe go to another shop and get a second opinion?

Tires are all pretty new. No more then 12k miles on them. Checked tire balance and threads. I'll try and throw on my girlfriends 17's and see how that goes. It really feels like the suspension though... I think my cars possessed! Worst case ill just throw the stock suspension back on and leave it alone lol. Shop rates are crazy here in Hawaii. Front wheel alignment is like $90. Sears wanted $75 for 4 wheels but they couldn't get it on their rack haha

Well the rims didn't work. I ended up throwing on the factory struts for the front end and did a quick home alignment and everything was fine... Somethings up with one of the Megans im assuming. I think ill just get the 1" springs from Eibach for the front and just leave the Megans in the rear since i mainly need the stiffness for the rear. Thanks for all your guys input on this. Case closed, Megans FTL!
