i know what in looking at now why do you think it needs changed? looks ok but you need to look at the hole shaft not just the outside part

It is where the harmonic balancer goes, you know where the crankshaft pulley is inserted to.

The bolt its a little bit tough to tread in and tread out...

so the pin will work just fine, right?

It should be fine. Just hit the crank pulley bolt with a little WD40 before you put it back in this next time.

PB blaster / THRUST > WD40. make sure there is no play in it (thats if you have the motor apart.)

but yeah, as stated, re-thread it.

does it make noise when driven? under any circumstances?

oh you took a picture of the reflection on a mirror. I gotcha now. Only time i thought you'd need to replace teh crank is if you weld the rod bearings to the crank.... yes it is possible if you beat the **** out of your engine enough.
