I own a 04 Civic Dx(manual), i acquired a 01 Civic Lx(auto)

I want to take out my 04 cluster, replace it with the 01, because of the Tach(the 04 didn't include the tach)

I have rummaged through some forums, and i didn't find one that suited my particular swap.

Could Anyone guide me or giving me wiring diagrams for each 04-05dx/01-03lx?

I apologize if this topic has been covered, perhaps guide me to the right place?

I have plugged them up, without switching wires, and everything works except the guage lights don't power up, that seems to be all i can noticed. I know i will have to switch the wires, i'm just unsure which one(s).

well 01-02 lx/ex cluster should work fine in any 01-05 dx/vp without rewiring. you only have to rewire if you are switching to the 03-05 lx/ex clusters with led lighting. and then you will rewire almost the whole plug. with the older style, no wire swap is needed so its possible you got a bad cluster, or maybe you have the dimmer switch turned all the way off. are your dash lights on or off?

yea i guess i got a bad cluster and yes my dimmer switch is all the way up.
but thank. i just hope i can return the cluster.
