Hey all,
I'm looking into gauges for my car (aftermarket obviously) and I was looking at a transmission temperature gauge for my 98 civic dx. Has anyone done this and how hard is it? And is it even worth it? I really don't want to have to do any tapping/welding or anything to my tranny and I heard that I there may already be a sender unit that I could use instead. If anyone knows anything please help! Thanks.

seems simple enough, you can just tap the rubber trans cooler lines.
And what do I do to make sure that the rubber stays sealed around the sender unit if I do that? Is there a recommended sealer/epoxy/etc.?
idk, i spliced mine twice and just used those metal quick clamps that they sell for radiator hose. i have external trans filter and trans cooler spliced in and no leaks.
