Can someone tell me how they moved their stereo to the lower part of the dash and what you had to do to make it right

a piece of 1/4 inch plywood, a coping saw, sandpaper, and two weeks of my life.

later filler, paint, resin, fibercarbon, and i still need to polish it. its a whole new animal now ^.^

first you'll need to extend all the wires, then find something to fill the void, then get creative with the install. different people do it different ways!

I f you are going to put in a aftermarket radio if you use the wiring harness it will drop down with no problem.

1slo2k1civic the wireing harness will drop down without a problem. it has alot of slack in it.

where'd you get the carbon fiber layer to cover the top piece?? i mounted my EQ in the same spot you have your deck, and i need something to cover the plain black panel.

TAP plastics, if there isnt one near you, www.TAPPlastics.com, i believe.

its the same stuff i used on my trunk, and also that i will use on my fiberglass hood, and what i WOULD use if i were to make a fibercarbon hood conversion (ppl here care more about weight than looks tho) great stuff, i couple it with teh marine grade epoxy, then finish the whole thing off with a UV protectant varnish (what a pain) shines like no other tho (i need to update that pic, i filled in teh weave now.)
