Hi guys,

Im trying to replicate the AEM V2 Intake for my D16Y8. Currently i have this information.

Upper Pipe - 2.5"
Lower Pipe - 3.5"
Material Used - 1.5mm Aluminum Tubing
Coating - ?
Mandrel Bending - Will be done properly by my friend.

Actually to see the gains the lengths should be right. From the AEM Patent Document i have got an equation to get the exact pipe lenghts and the Over lap length.

However Helmholz Equation is pretty difficult to solve.

i would kindly and humbly request from anyone who has this intake to get me the lengths of the primary and the secondary pipes.

Overlap length can be found easily if you guys can help me find the primary and secondary pipe leghts.

Please help me. If i make it right i will post the results.

this is perfectly fine...because ur intake wont really do **** for ur car anyways... plus, if you dont live in CA, and dont require a "carb legal" sticker on the intake (like all AEM intakes have, thats why its so damn expensive) then go this route.
