Exclamation Rebuilding my Motor!!!!!

Ok so I have a 2000 ex 1.6 liter d16y8. I am boring the motor and possibly going to turbo it. k so heres my question how much power can the stock cv's and stock transmission hold up to before you need to upgrade. Im not like going to make insane horsepower but i just want an idea i don't want to have to replace them after a week.

Re: Rebuilding my Motor!!!!!

The transmission will be able to hold all you can throw at it stock. The clutch is a different story. I'd honestly just run a stock clutch til it fries itself, but anything over 20% increase in power will warrant a beefier clutch.

The axles life depends a lot on how you treat them. Hard launches will obviously shorten lifespan. Torque will be the ultimate killer of these, honestly you probably won't have to upgrade unless you're making over 230 wheel lb.-ft.
