Sounds to me like he's talking about the wire cover, which defeats the WHOLE purpose of this thread!!!

looks very nice. how many coats did you do and how long did it take you? i want to do this probably in a week or so. also, what size bolts are those that hold it down? i'd go look at my car, but they look big, like 19mm. anyways, thanks for the pics and the info, i'll be heading out for some paint in a couple hours.

and about chrome, wouldn't you have to leave it at the shop for the day or something, so you'd need either a second valve cover, or a ride around town to do it. i don't think it would look that great unless you had a polished intake and a chrome header to match.

hey MugenEX7, did you contact your dealer about the fact that honda put a plastic valve cover on your car???? or, your heat shield got hot enough to melt magnesium? umm.....or maybe, just maybe, you painted your PLUG WIRE COVER. ummmm... i think thats it, did you by chance look at the attached pics???? if you have painted this part and it melted, i would contact honda about overheating. edit: by the way, sorry to flame you about it.
