Transmission gearing..change?
I used to have a 5.0 liter with 3.73 in the rear. At the the time a guy I new had a Beretta (I forget what size engine) and he changed the gearing in his tranny. This car would pull as hard as mine in first. I was just wondering if this is something anybody does with imports at all? Just curious not that I would do this.
You could either swap the tranny with a type-r model, or just swap the differential and final-drive gear....
You could also goto smaller tires...but nobody likes a mexi-fabulous looking car...hah...

thats not gonna be easy, especially on our new models... i've swapped diff ratios and transmission gears in domestics, but I dunno what products are out for our rides yet
remember, changing gearing, like almost all the other mods, is a double edged sword. What you gain in pull you will lose in top end and mileage
I think you're a bit confused on what a torque convertor is...... It sits in front of an auto transmission and bolts up to the engine, allowing for infinate Ratios between the engine and the transmission, but is still limited by the engine power. You can't just "add a torque convertor on" to a manual, etc....
edit: linky
