01-03 fog light template
01-03 fog light template
I'm looking for a template to cut the bumper for the OEM fog lights. I searched the site and all the links I found were not working. If anyone has the template scanned or can email it to me?
Thanks!
Thanks!

the cut doesnt have to be exact. the fog light pretty much covers up the entire piece you're supposed to cut out. just cut it roughly about the right size and trim as needed.

I have a shop doing the install and they need the template. I don't want them cutting all over the bumper that's not necessary. I already have the install instructions I just need the template itself.
I just burnt my tongue

funny for the 04 civic i can do it in a parking lot with only a phillips and flat head screwdrivers...wiring if bought on ebay is even easier lol...oem ones are just too complicated for nothing

i think mine are oem replicas. i got them from a local store. it's a bitch to install. according to 3rd party instructions, i need to drill to get that ****-thing in. and i was dremelling away before.. lucky i found instructions before i did too much damage. and they gave me the wrong switch! need to go buy 2 door switch from honda

Well, the ebay switch is crap... it'll work, but it wont have a OEM fit, in fact its just too small. Best bet, as I've always said, is to get an autozone switch thats three pronged and wire it up that way. Requires a little modification but easy wiring.
To do the foglight install, regardless of the OEM or EBAY foglights, just as long as you get the right location on the bumper, the best way to do it is cut a hole thats on the small side and keep dremeling it bigger for a perfectly sung fit. Trying to follow a template will make the hole too big and therefore make the foglight not fit and ruin your bumper.

you dont need the template. i installed my oem replicas without them. and i just used a pocket knife... if the shop says that they cant do it, they shouldnt be touching your car. take it to a different one.
Re: 01-03 fog light template
like what everyone said, you don't really need a template...just start out w/ a small hole then dremel more of the plastic if needed
if you really need the template, i have a spare here...i'll do $10 shipped...
