Hey, new user here, I have a 2004 Civic DX, stock throughout, no power door locks, no power windows. Not having it is just annoying sometimes especially because people always forget to lock doors, etc.

Does anyone have some good dyi guides and good parts to buy(ebay maybe idk) to installing power windows and power locks? Thanks!

thanks for the info! the locks looks pretty simple but the windows looks pretty tricky haha.

I think I will just do the locks for right now and maybe take care of the windows later.

I was thinking of getting a kit with a keyless entry.

holy crap, the power locks DIY was the first one i ever made for this site.. ah, the good old days..

anyways, to answer your question, any of those kits will work. how well? i dont know. actuators are actuators, but the keyless entry unit might suck. for that id trust a name brand. but again, the lock motors themselves dont matter. they're all kinda generic. i used a SPAL window kit for my power windows, along with a DEI 530T so i can remotely roll my windows up and down. you also get auto up/down if you use that unit too. the hardest part of all of it was running wires and finding where to mount stuff.. good luck.
