Re: i need help fast

Whack it with a hammer.

Or use a tie- rod separator. This can be purchased for less than $10 at an automotive parts store.

quickest way.... take a hammer, bang on the arm until it pops loose.

some auto store rent the tie rod separator. its like a tuning fork you hammer and it slowly wedges it apart.

Re: i need help fast

dont hit the bottom of the bolt with a bare hammer, it will strip the bolt, all u gotta do is put a piece of wood inbetween em, or hit the arm with the hammer till it pops, but its up to u

Re: i need help fast

if you put the nut on it so it is flush with the bottom of the bolt and hit it with a hammer it won't bind the threads on the bolt. Basicly make sure you are hitting the nut and not the bolt, other wise you will screw up the threads. It will take a couple of good wacks with the hammer to get it loose. That one is a pain I had the same one stuck on me to.

Re: i need help fast

Too late now, but what worked for me was to use the oem jack with a piece of wood. Put pressure on the bottom of the bolt with the jack(wood in between) and then once there is a lot of pressure, give the arm a few good whacks and it frees it right away. Sorry I didn't see the thread sooner...
