Uhm, this is wiierd, I instealled my CAI on my 2k1 Coupe 5spd no prob, love it, I just put one on my g/f's Automatic Coupe, and the headlights are trippin.

First, if I put on the hazards, the left (facing the car) headlight is dim when it blinks, the right side, the yellow blinks, but the round white part doesnt. Now, if I turn the headlights on, they all work fine, except the left side blinker won't work. This is really wierd. The right side blinker still works. If the lights are off, both blinkers work fine. Any ideas guys?

sounds like you have a bad ground... you need to make sure the bolt from the back of the rubber mount is holding them all tight against the chassis or else relocate the grounds or a washer to help hold or something..

yeah the grounded wires where the spacer goes will do that if it's not on tight (I just installed mine about 2 weeks ago, I have an auto - all works fine on it though)

should have did a search but oh well, alot of people have had the problem, the sensor stub or whatever, that red thing that holds your CAI in place down where your bumper is , is probably not tight enough, that is your ground (negative) for your headlights so basically its getting all screwed up since its not in place. Same thing happened to me and then i fixed it by making that sensor thing tighter

I have an injen cai and have no clue as to what 'sensor stub' you are talking about. Or any red thing for that matter?

ok you know the second piece that is connected to the k&n filter? you know how there is a metal piece sticking out from it, that piece is then secured to the inside around your front bumper bay , well unless you installed it yourself you won't understand

Its the ground, check them and secure them. After that you will be fine.
