help!! two quick "?s"

ok so i bought sidemarkers and im intalling them right now but something came up...i connected the ground(black)to the ground and the red (rom the sidemarker)to the green in the turning signal but now it blinks fast not normal we tried diff. ground same result any help??

the other question is if i were two splice the red wire (rom the sidemarker)to the green and the red in the turning signal it wont burn out the bulb???


please help!!!!!!

in order to make it the same you have to use the same ground as the actual turn signal. when the car senses a "bad ground" in the turn signals it makes them blink faster to let you know theres something wrong. i think.

i have an 05 civic so the wire harness from the turning bulb has 3 wires BLACK ,RED, AND GREEN the ones from the sidemarker has two RED AND BLACK .. i want them to turn on with the headlights and also blink with the turning signal... we tried first just black to black and red to greenso they would just blink BUT when we did that it blinks FAST so i dont know what im doing wrong tried changing the ground but same result
