Car shakes periodically need help

Just like it says my car shakes periodically when Im driving. Im not sure whats causing it. Its not at a specific speed really but if I had to say anywhere in between 40 mph and 60 mph. Anybody have any ideas one what can cause this? It feels like its coming from the front of the car also if that helps. Any help is appreciated, thanks

mine is doing the same thing. its like a pulsing vibration. its vibrates, then stops, vibrates, then stops. it just started doin it a few days ago. im thinkin its somewhere in the motor mounts or something. mine only does it around 85-90 mph.

could just be uneven wear on the tires. i had really bad shaking and vibration at many speeds, when i got new tires it went away. warped rotors only causes shaking while braking. could also be wheels need balancing again if the weights fell off.

yeah my tires are almost completely bald so thats probley it but Im still waiting tell the summer to replace them cause I can't afford to replace them now. I have to worry about paying off credit cards. Thanks for the help guys. But I would think that if my wheels weren't balanced it would shake always and at certain speeds.

Well it could still be shaking at lower speeds but you just wont feel it. The faster you go the, the more it'll vibrate.

Yeah but it doesn't keep shaking tell I slow down. It will sometimes start shaking at 60 mph then at 62 mph stop. So its not the faster I go the more it shakes

my old miata had that problem at about 80mph when i first bought it. it would shake violently, like the entire car was just going to obliterate into a thousand pieces. when i got new wheels and tires, the shaking was gone, it turned out one of the wheels wasn't balanced.

If you live where you get snow... there could be snow/ice stuck up on the inside of your rim.... Happened to me the other day, at least thats what my father told me what it was. :S But I am also due for a rotation and balancing too. So could be either.
